Adopting a childThe three-phased process described below outlines the entire adoption process from initial contact to post-adoption follow-up. These should provide you with a quick outline of all the steps involved in the completion of a successful adoption with BERCEAU.

  1. PHASE I: PRE-ADOPTION
    Initial contact, domestic preparation, determination of suitability etc.
  2. PHASE II: ADOPTION
    Overseas travel, medical, legal and immigration procedures.
  3. PHASE III: POST-ADOPTION
    Domestic post-adoption procedures, including routine legal and immigration matters.
  4. DOSSIER & DOCUMENTS
    A list of some of the documentation required during the adoption process.
  5. POST ADOPTION: REPORT PROCEDURE
    Keeping tabs on the child’s welfare.
