Post Adoption: Report Procedure
In accordance with the Russian regulations the adoptive parents are required to provide 4 progressive reports during the first 3 years after the adoption will have been taken place in following sequence:
- 6 months after
- 12 months
- 24 months
- 36 months
The standard post placement report should contain the following pages in order:
Page 1) Agency Cover Sheet: To be completed by the placement agency.
Page 2) Legalization: To by obtained through Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Page 3) Report Body: To be completed by a licensed Social Worker.
Use the following categories as headings to generate the report: (Between one and three paragraphs is sufficient for each category)
- Describe the child’s emotional adjustment and family response.
- Describe the child’s development.
- Describe the child’s daily routine.
- Describe (if applicable) the child’s cultural adaptation.
- Summary (feelings and general observations).
Page 4) Notary’s Seal: The report and it’s translation shall be notarized.
Page 5) Photographs: No less than six (6) photographs. The photographs can be either original color photos or color copies of the photos.
The translation of this report will be prepared by our agency.
